• Parking – there is a car park at the back of the community centre. The first lot of spaces (approximately 11) you get to when you drive in are free to park in, as are the next few on the left beyond the mini roundabout. The other spaces which are staff parking only so if you choose to park there, it is at your own risk - I have been told that there are parking attendants who may give you a ticket if you don't show a staff permit (though we haven't had any issues yet since we started classes over a year ago!). Please ignore any signs that suggest it is a pay and display car park - there is NO NEED TO PAY!
• If the car park is full, you can park on The Crescent, which is the road opposite the community centre. Otherwise, there is West St car park which is a 2 minute walk from the community centre, under the underpass and through Kidwells Park.
• You can enter the building via the front or rear entrance in the middle of the building, The doors will be locked so please use this code to enter: 46610# which is specific to Monkey Music. Please do not share this code with anyone else!
• Once inside, follow the corridor to your left, go through a door into a café area and our room is on the right. It’s called the Quiet Room but there’s not a sign on the door currently however there’ll be plenty of Monkey Music signage to guide you!
• If you need bring a buggy it can be left in the foyer or outside our classroom in the café area.
• Waiting area – If you are early, please feel free to come and sit in the café area. I will provide some tea bags, coffee, milk and biscuits, so please feel free to make yourself a cuppa either before or after the class!
• Please note there is to be no eating in classroom though – water is fine from a named bottle only and breastfeeding is of course ok too
• You are invited to borrow our cleaned and sanitised instruments for the class. They will be provided in a sanitised environment.
• I will be providing you with a sanitised mat to sit on during the class. If you would like to bring a small blanket from home to put on top of the mat to make it more comfortable for your little one, please do so
• For details of our health and safety plan please see our FAQs on our website.
• If you miss your class due to illness or otherwise, you are welcome to book on for a catch-up class within the same term. Please get in touch with Sally to arrange this. We are also offering online ‘cheer up’ videos if your little one is ill, so do get in touch if you’ve missed a class due to illness and I’ll send you a password to access the video through the Monkey Music Club
